Isaiah 53:4-5

Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.  -NKJV

But [in fact] He has borne our griefs,
And He has carried our sorrows and pains;
Yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken,
Struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him].
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing];
The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him,
And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.   -AMP

• Don’t let anyone talk you out of your healing. Jesus took stripes so that we could be healed just as he died and went to hell so we could be saved.
• John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
• 1 John 3:7-8 “Little children, let no man deceive you. He that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil, for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
• Luke  13:16 “And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?”
• Satan wants you bound, God wants you free. Satan is always trying to talk you in to staying sick, but God has provided a way for all of us to be, not just saved, but healed also.

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’     -NKJV

‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you;
Do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you;
I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’      -AMP

 

• This is Gods desire for you and I, that we are upheld and strengthened. God does not want us to be sick and falling apart.
• Matthew 19:26 “But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
• Despite what the doctors report looks like or how you feel or what the news says, “with God all things are possible” and healing will come from Him as we meditate and build our faith. 

Proverbs 17:22

A merry heart does good, like medicine,
But a broken spirit dries the bones.  -NKJV

A happy heart is good medicine and a joyful mind causes healing, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.   -AMP

• Get rid of any negative, pessimistic attitudes and thoughts by focusing on Gods promises. Keep your heart focused on the good things of life. Negativity works against your health. 
• Nehemiah 8:10 “Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
• Satan wants to overwhelm us with the bad things of life. He wants us to stay focused on family problems, bad news reports and headlines, all the things we don’t have and wished we did, past failures and mistakes etc.. But the bible warns us that if we consistently meditate on the bad report it will cause the bad to play out in our lives.
• Mark 4:18-19 “Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.”
• Philippians 4:8-9 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Proverbs 4:20-22

My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
 Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
 For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.    -NKJV

 

My son, pay attention to my words and be willing to learn;

Keep them in the center of your heart.

And healing and health to all their flesh.   -AMP

 

• Getting Gods word in your heart and keeping it in your heart is the key to seeing your healing manifest.
• Proverbs 4:23 “Keep your heart with all diligence,
  For out of it spring the issues of life.” 
• What is in our hearts is what will flow out into our life. Therefore its so important to keep Gods word going into your eyes and ears, so that it will stay in your heart. 
• Mark 4:13-14 “The sower soweth the word.

And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.”

• Satan wants to steal the word of God out of your heart so that it will not produce in your life.

Proverbs 3:7-8

Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh,
And strength to your bones.  -NKJV

Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord [with reverent awe and obedience] and turn [entirely] away from evil.
It will be health to your body [your marrow, your nerves, your sinews, your muscles—all your inner parts]
And refreshment (physical well-being) to your bones.  -AMP

• As we meditate Gods word his wisdom will be imparted into us. Allow the wisdom of God to begin to shape your character and direction.
• Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
• We tend to see ourselves in a negative light. God see’s us as kings and priest’s (Rev. 1:6). God see’s us healed, whole and prosperous. 
• Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
• Thinking the thoughts of God will causing healing in your body.

Proverbs 4:10

Hear, my son, and receive my sayings,
And the years of your life will be many.  -NKJV

Hear, my son, and accept my sayings,
And the years of your life will be many.  -AMP

 

• Mark 4:20 “And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.”
• We have a choice to make, are we going to receive the word of God or reject it? Long life is given to those that hear and receive. 
• Romans 10:17 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Its not just about hearing but we also must receive what God speaks to our hearts and shows us in His word. 

Psalm 107:20

He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions.  -NKJV

He sent His word and healed them,
And rescued them from their destruction.    -AMP

• In the spoken word of God is life and healing and everything you need to be healed and made whole.
• Matthew 4:4 “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
• Isaiah 55:11 “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
• If you just consistently meditate God’s word and let it fill your heart, it will bring healing. You don’t need to struggle or try, simply think on it and read it. The power is in the word to heal you. 
• John 1:14 “ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Psalm 103: 1-5

Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.      -NKJV

 

Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul,
And all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name.

Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul,
And do not forget any of His benefits;
3 
Who forgives all your sins,
Who heals all your diseases;
4 
Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you [lavishly] with loving kindness and tender mercy;
5 
Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the [soaring] eagle    -AMP

 

• Satan want to hide these benefits from us. As children of God these benefits belong to us. 
• Romans 10:17 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Receive Gods benefits by faith. God is a faith God and we take ahold of his promises by faith.

Psalm 91:10

No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;  -NKJV

No evil will befall you,
Nor will any plague come near your tent.     -AMP

• Meditate on the whole chapter of Psalm 91. Now more than ever do we need to get this down in us. 
• Psalm 91:1 “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
  Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” God has a plan to keep us safe and sound in the last days and it involves hiding us in his secret place. 
• Our job is to get this word down on the inside of us not to try and make this happen. Build your faith. See yourself dwelling in the secret place. 
• Psalm 91:3 “Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the [a]fowler
  And from the perilous pestilence.” See yourself protected from evil. Laugh at the evil as it tries to come in but can’t touch you. 
• This is who we are as children of God. We are protected in the secret place.

Psalm 43:5

 

Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God.      -NKJV

 

Why are you in despair, O my soul?
And why are you restless and disturbed within me?
Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall again praise Him,
The help of my [sad] countenance and my God.     -AMP

 

• Don’t mix up how you feel for truth. The truth is we are healed by the stripes of Jesus.
• Mark 5:34 And He said unto her, “Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole. Go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”  
• Always ask yourself “where is my faith?” If you are worried or afraid your hope is not in God.
